20.2 ft U-Shaped Outdoor Kitchen with Grill & Sear Station
A U-shaped kitchen built for steak: a 38 in Napoleon 700 Series grill next to a Napoleon Infrared Sizzle Zone burner for very high-heat searing, a 24 in sink and a Napoleon outdoor refrigerator on the opposite leg, and about 7 ft of prep counter across the back. There is no seating on purpose - it is a working kitchen for the cook. Shown in Perla with a charcoal back panel.

Layout
How this kitchen works
Cooking leg, from the open end: a 20 in three-drawer cabinet, the grill in a 43 in grill cabinet, and the Sizzle Zone in a 28 in two-drawer cabinet, then the corner.
Back leg: a 35 in three-drawer cabinet, a 28 in storage-and-trash cabinet and a 20 in three-drawer cabinet - one long counter for trimming, seasoning and resting meat.
Cold-and-wet leg, from the corner: the sink cabinet with two doors, the refrigerator and an 11 in two-drawer cabinet. Meat comes out of the refrigerator, is prepped on the back counter, seared on the infrared burner and finished on the grill - a loop around the U.

Size and the space it needs
Legs measured along the countertop: 9 ft 11 in (cooking leg), 11 ft 8 in (back) and 7 ft 8 in (sink leg), all 27 in deep, with the countertop at 35.7 in.
The open floor inside the U is about 7 ft 2 in across - room for a cook and a helper. With a path into the open side, plan an area of about 12 x 13 ft.
Gas goes to the cooking leg; water, a drain and a circuit for the refrigerator go to the opposite leg.

- An infrared burner runs very hot; it rewards practice and is not a general-purpose side burner.
- A footprint of about 12 x 13 ft is a big commitment for a kitchen that seats nobody.
