14.8 ft Modular Outdoor Kitchen Island with Power Burner
A 14 ft 10 in island that does everything in one straight line: a 38 in Napoleon 700 Series grill, an 18 in Napoleon power burner, a 24 in sink, a 24 in solid-door RCS outdoor refrigerator and two drawer cabinets, under a 37 in deep countertop with seating along the back. It is the largest straight kitchen in the collection. Shown in Antracite with a charcoal back panel.
Made by Skol Outdoor Living, fabricated in 304 marine-grade stainless steel and sintered stone.
Layout
How this kitchen works
Cook's side, left to right: a 20 in three-drawer cabinet, the grill in a 43 in grill cabinet, the power burner in a 28 in two-drawer cabinet, the sink cabinet with a drawer and a trash pull-out, the refrigerator, and a 35 in three-drawer cabinet.
The run splits into two halves: hot on the left (grill and power burner side by side, so a pot of sauce or a wok goes on while the grill works), cold and wet on the right (sink, refrigerator and the big drawer cabinet).
Seat guests behind the cold half - about 7 ft 3 in of counter behind the sink, refrigerator and drawers, room for three or four stools - and keep the counter behind the grill and burner clear.

Size and the space it needs
Footprint: 14 ft 10 in long x 37 in deep, with the countertop at 35.7 in.
With 42 to 48 in on the cook's side, 36 to 44 in behind the stools and a path at each end, plan an area of about 21 x 10.5 ft.
Gas, water, a drain and an outdoor-rated circuit all have to reach the island - usually trenched under the patio before it is laid.
Is it for you
Who this design suits
Best for
- Large patios where the island is the centerpiece and faces the yard or the pool.
- Cooks who want a grill and a high-output burner next to each other, without an L or a U.
- Hosting a crowd: a cook at the grill, a helper at the sink, and guests at the bar.
Keep in mind
- At almost 15 ft it needs a long, open patio, and a long walk from one end to the other.
- A straight line puts the cook's back to anyone behind them; an L or U wraps the work area instead.
- Every utility runs to a freestanding island, which costs more to install than a run against the house.
