15.4 ft L-Shaped Outdoor Kitchen with Bar & Wine Cooler
An L-shaped outdoor kitchen built for drinks as much as grilling. One 10 ft 9 in leg cooks, with a 38 in Napoleon 700 Series grill; the other 10 ft leg is a bar, with a dual-zone RCS wine cooler, an RCS nugget ice maker, an open shelved cabinet for glasses and bottles, and a deeper countertop for stools. Shown in Travertino Bianco with a charcoal back.

Layout
How this kitchen works
Cooking leg, from the open end to the corner: a 20 in three-drawer cabinet, the grill in a 43 in grill cabinet, a 28 in storage-and-trash cabinet, then the corner.
Bar leg, from the corner out: the 15 in wine cooler, the 15 in nugget ice maker, a 24 in open cabinet with two shelves, and a 35 in three-drawer cabinet. Its countertop is 37 in deep and overhangs the outside by about 10 in, so stools tuck under it.
The grill has about 20 in of counter on one side and the 28 in cabinet plus the corner on the other, which meets the common guideline of 24 in on one side and 12 in on the other. Drinks live on the other leg, so guests help themselves without crossing in front of the grill.

Size and the space it needs
Legs measured along the countertop: 10 ft 9 in (cooking leg, 27 in deep) and 10 ft (bar leg, 37 in deep), with the countertop at 35.7 in.
Leave 42 to 48 in of clear floor inside the L in front of the grill, and 36 to 44 in behind the stools outside the bar leg - about 14.5 x 10 ft of patio, plus a way into the L.
The cooking leg needs only gas. The bar leg needs power for the wine cooler and ice maker, a water line for the ice maker and, for most ice makers, a drain.

- Hosts who would rather have a bar than a sink: wine, ice and glassware in one place.
- A patio corner or the edge of a pool deck, with the stools facing the pool or the yard.
- Two people at once: one grills, one pours.
Keep in mind
- No sink - hand-washing and cleanup happen inside. If you want one, the 35 in drawer cabinet can be replaced with a sink cabinet in the designer.
- No food refrigerator - the wine cooler is for drinks.
- The 10 in bar overhang suits drinks and small plates more than full dinners.
