How this kitchen works
Grill run: the grill in a 35 in cabinet with doors, and a 20 in three-drawer cabinet beside it.
Opposite run: a 20 in three-drawer cabinet, the refrigerator, and a 28 in three-drawer cabinet - about 6 ft of counter for prep and serving, one step behind the cook.
In a galley the landing space for the grill is the counter across the aisle: turn around and the platter goes down. That is why such a short grill run still works.

Size and the space it needs
Run lengths along the countertop: 4 ft 7 in (grill) and 6 ft (refrigerator), both 27 in deep, with the countertop at 35.7 in.
The aisle is 42 in from counter edge to counter edge - the NKBA minimum for a work aisle used by one cook. The two runs and the aisle cover about 6 x 8 ft.
Gas goes to the grill run and an outdoor-rated circuit to the refrigerator run; there is no sink, so no water or drain.
